Salt Nicotine

Nicotine salts is a type of nicotine base used in therapeutic vaping substances. These types of therapeutic vaping liquid are available in 30mL and 60mL bottles, various nicotine strengths/concentrations (including 0mg or nicotine-free), menthol, mint and tobacco flavours or unflavoured options.

Therapeutic vaping liquid can only be used for smoking cessation or nicotine dependence management, under the supervision of a pharmacist or healthcare professional (doctor/nurse), when first-line nicotine replacement treatments have been unsuccessful (e.g. patches, gum, lozenges).

It's important to note that although no script is required for therapeutic vaping substances with 20mg/mL or less nicotine concentration, a pharmacist phone consultation is always required before dispensing and a maximum of one month's supply per month (or less more frequently) can be dispensed.
