About us
Who are we?
We are an independent, online, specialty pharmacy, located in Queensland, that proudly services all Australians. No matter which state you live in, you can purchase from our site and acquire professional pharmacist advice.
We do not supply PBS medicine.
You may not find all your regular pharmacy products on our site. That's part of us being a specialty pharmacy... At least, for now. We focus on pharmacist-supervised access to therapeutic goods to support smoking cessation or nicotine dependence management, where clinically appropriate (i.e. where patients have a therapeutic need) but plan on increasing our product lines in the future. How are we a pharmacy, then? Pharmacy World Australia is owned by a pharmacist (a real one; degree, white coat and all) so we can provide you with therapeutic goods that only a pharmacist can dispense.
We can't tell you how large our product range will get in the future but we can say that we're a very experienced team in every aspect of running an online store with therapeutic goods and are passionate about providing excellent customer support; one that's focused on you getting the product and service you actually need. This includes having a real chat over the phone with our pharmacists.

Dimitri Amarandos
Dimitri has a Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and has been a qualified pharmacist for over 15 years. Dimitri now enjoys providing you with an online pharmacy experience, so you can spend less time running errands, and more quality time with your friends and family.

We're not shy about refusing to stock or discontinuing a product that's proven not to meet these standards, regardless of its brand or popularity.

Conveniently do your pharmacy shopping, send us your prescriptions and chat to our pharmacist from the privacy and comfort of your own home, office, gym or while you're waiting in line at another store. Then we'll post your therapeutic goods straight to you.
Professional advice
Our pharmacists provide you with appropriate healthcare advice relating to our therapeutic goods, and our team can provide advice on usage, troubleshooting and more.
Fast postage
Our office is located in Brisbane, Queensland and we post on the same day if your order is placed and approved before midday (AEST) on weekdays.

There's no AI doing any aspect of our customer service. In fact, we wrote this page ourselves. Every word.
Real stock availability
There's no drop-shipping. The products you see in stock are actually in our warehouse, right now.
Why can't you see all our products?
Some products, such as therapeutic vaping goods, can only be seen if you register an account with us. These are pharmacy-only, scheduled medication that are usually sold from behind the counter, by a pharmacist only, in a brick and mortar chemist.
Many of these products can only be sold to adults (18+) so we may also request an ID check upon registering, before providing access to scheduled medicines.
