The first step in every vaping kit setup prior to use is ensuring you prime brand-new disposable pods and coils. Priming only takes about 10 minutes and is very important if you are to get the most life from your vaping device accessories.
What is priming?
Priming means saturating the built-in or external coil's cotton centre with vaping substance. You only prime a brand-new, unused disposable pod or coil.
Why is coil/pod priming important?
Priming brand-new, unused disposable pods or coils ensures the first draw of an e-cigarette isn't a 'dry hit'. A dry hit is when the coil is not saturated with liquid which can instantly or prematurely burn your coil's wick (meaning you must replace the pod/coil immediately), reduce the coil or pod's life, give you a shock of bad-tasting vapour.
How to prime new disposable pods
- Remove plastic seal (sticker) from bottom (if present).
- Remove black mouthpiece on top OR lift side/bottom rubber plug.
- Fill with vaping substance.
- Replace mouthpiece OR plug.
- Let pod sit for five to 10 minutes.
- Install pod on vaping device (battery/mod) and vape.

How to prime new coils
- Place five drops of vaping substance into the centre of the coil.
- Install coil in pod or tank.
- Fill pod or tank with vaping substance.
- Let pod or tank sit for five to 10 minutes.
- Install tank/pod on vaping device (battery/mod) and vape.
